Description
The Used Equipment Specialist is a new position to Newman Tractor. This position supports our used fleet and is responsible for providing leadership through the tactical and calculated implementation of our team and systems to provide a customer service focused excellence in all operational standards. The Used Equipment Specialist will be responsible to compile and use data to make informative decisions around Equipment Utilization. This position is fast paced and highly detailed. This role actively works to help load the sales pipeline for our team and ensures a smooth transition to close every equipment deal and keep customers engaged.
Requirements
- Work alongside some of the biggest brands in the industry with a focus on generating new leads and opportunities for sales of new equipment, used equipment, attachments, rentals, and service
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the NT Customer Experience
- Proactively keep abreast of our industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to the Newman Tractor salesmen and customers
- Proactively search for equipment that fulfills rental and sales needs
- Analyze market trends to assist on how to price equipment, when to buy equipment, and when to sell equipment to insure the highest ROI for Newman Tractor
- Assist with overseeing cost control on service and freight for all “used” equipment
- Responsible for trade evaluations and pricing to assist potential sales
- Actively work with customers and salesmen to presell trade-in machines
- Call on customers for procurement of surplus equipment
- Travel to customer yards and equipment auctions for buying or selling
- Work directly with the VP of Fleet Management to align goals to benefit the company
Advertising
- Take product sales photos for promotion on the company website at specific location
- Update photos on the website as needed (1000 hrs, component changes, freshly painted, etc.)
- Review the website weekly to verify that units have active listings and positioned correctly for sale
- Evaluate all competitors’ activities such as new product launches, retail pricing, auction numbers, and advertising strategies
- Work with Coordinators & Salesmen on equipment forecasting
- Promote a culture of safety and positive employee engagement
Salary : $44,500 - $56,300
