What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graduate program position at Newrest?
Working at Newrest as a newly graduate is an ideal way to kick-start your career in a fast paced and dynamic environment. We are looking for a recent Graduate within the area of logistics, production, transportation & service management, who wants to take on a one-year (12-16 month) assignment in our graduate program. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to work in this learning position in one of our Scandinavian units for 12-16 months, with a mutual option of prolonging the employment into a permanent position.
Starting with Newrest in the Graduate program will be an opportunity to develop yourself within a global company with the possibility to relocatee to any of our European sites, with a chance of rotation to further locations in the world. The role will be fast-paced and varied and will allow plenty of learning opportunities for personal and professional development as Newrest continues to grow. You will have the opportunity to work in all departments in the unit and by that get to know about all areas of the business.
Missions:
- Operational processes within the unit and ensure they are effectively performance managed and flights packed, sealed and loaded as per the flight’s schedule / unit production plan / customer specifications.
- Report writing for Major and minor incidents, accidents and adhere to escalation process as per company protocol.
- Resource planning, allocation, cross training / utilisation between all processes.
- Ensure all customer requirements, updates, ad-hoc requests, substitution’s, flight delays, a/c changes, cancellations, run outs information is completed on time, logged and reported on Operational Dashboard at the end of each shift.
- Liaison with customers station office for communicating changes, updates, issues in a timely manner in conjunction with internal customer service support team.
- Take proactive measures to ensure zero wastage, zero overtime levels are achieved in all processes by focusing productivity and efficiency improvements.
- Work to KPI's and ensuring reporting requirements are fulfilled and targets are achieved / exceeded.
