What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at Newton Dentistry?
We are a multi-specialty private dental office that is looking for an Office Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position that we expect to grow into leadership of daily operations at the practice. Experience in Dental is a plus but we are also willing to train the right candidate.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance and 401k. Our work hours are 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a dependable and motivated team player with good communication skills, a professional attitude, and previous experience with leadership. As a leader, this person will invest in learning the business and building relationships with team members and patients. Customer service experience, problem-solving skills, and an attentive, patient leadership style are key ingredients to success.
Responsibilities:
- Player/coach management of day-to-day operations, including fulfilling team duties as needed on a daily basis
- Managing and directing full-time and temporary staff assignments/schedules as well as individual development plans, practice compliance, and job performance
- Participate in the interviewing and selection of potential staff
- Rapidly grow knowledge and expertise of the dental industry, manage supply inventory, and practice alignment with company policies
- Act as a point of contact for patient relations and patient concerns; team leadership for continuing a strong track record of patient satisfaction
- Foster a supportive team environment and positive practice culture
- In addition to Manager training, this role will be cross-trained as a Dental Assistant. Our office will sponsor the license and train on the job. Dental Assistant responsibilities include assisting the Dentists during procedures, conducting x-rays, sterilizing instruments, etc. We train on all of these responsibilities.
