Job Title: Stockroom Clerk

Reports to: Production Control Supervisor

FLSA: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Position Summary

Stockroom clerk primary role is to maintain inventory, distribute and work in a manufacturing environment. Stockroom clerk must be on their feet and have a general aptitude for counting and inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing, organizing and tracking all materials in the stockroom.
• Reviews documents such as production schedules, work orders, material requirements and material priorities.
• Communicates with department supervisors and other personnel to discuss progress and needed changes.
• Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
• Maintain inventory of material and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Distributes production schedules and work orders to departments.
• Compiles information, such as production progress, material inventory, material used, and customer information, so that status reports can be completed.

Education/ Qualifications

• High School or GED Preferred
• Computer knowledge is required for Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word
• Fluent in reading and communicating in English
• Minimum of one-year experience in stocking, shipping or related field

Physical Demands:

• Physically capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements.
• Employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must show prove of eligibility to work in the United States

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
