What's The Job?
The Junior Data Analyst will examine researcher data files for compliance with privacy requirements. This junior data analyst will examine data and reports which could be in various formats (SAS, Excel, Text, Word) to determine whether the information/variables are sensitive and require redaction/suppression.
What We Need you to Do:
- Inspect data for sensitive/confidential information.
- Provide timely reviews of data files in accordance with the client service agreement.
- Clearly articulate findings, orally and in writing, to researchers which explain the rationale for rejection of file release.
- Update specifications for data evaluation through technical writing and revision of existing guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- May be asked to assist with special projects.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in statistics or mathematics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and statistical analytic programs (e.g. SAS, SQL, R, Python, Stata).
- Quantitative and data analysis skills.
- Data analysis experience is preferred.
- Experience working with large data sets preferred.
- Working knowledge of Medicare claims data preferred.
Our Clients and Teammates Require:
- Must be able to pass Public Trust background check requiring US Citizenship or Permanent Residence.
- Must have lived in the United States at least 3 out of the last 5 years.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Internal and external customer service skills.
- Should be extremely detail and data oriented.
- Requires availability Monday-Friday 9 to 5pm (EST).
- Must be able to work from home and meet all required deadlines.

Our Federal contract requires that, if selected for this position, the candidate provide specific documentation verifying authorization to work in the US and access client systems.
