The Orthopaedic House Physician (Attending) position will continue to have daily responsibilities for care of the Orthopaedic surgical inpatients, assisting attending Orthopaedic surgeons in the O.R. and taking call to the Emergency Department and hospital floors for Orthopaedic consultations. Providing clinical care for a growing volume of Orthopaedic inpatients, quality assurance and performance improvement are areas of focus for this role to cover. This position is necessary to avoid impingement on patient care.
Required Criteria
M.D. or D.O. degree
New York State Medical License
Completed one PGY year in an ACGME accredited residency training program
