The MealSuite Coordinator will represent overall corporate vision, planning, direction, and control of all MealSuite programs and systems at all operations within NEXDINE Hospitality. The successful coordinator must set objectives, monitor performance, train, and develop colleagues while focusing on integrity of the NEXDINE Hospitality brand, ingredient quality, menu development and clinical outcomes in operations. This role will act as the voice of NEXDINE Hospitality working with MealSuite and convey the message of The NEXDINE Hospitality Guiding Principles, Brand Experience expectations and Culinary Commitments within the use of the MealSuite program.
Essential Functions
- Understand and embrace NEXDINE Hospitality guiding principles.
- Have a complete understanding of the NEXDINE Hospitality Brand Experience.
- Have a complete understanding of the NEXDINE Hospitality Culinary Commitment, ensuring the Culinary Commitments are maintained throughout the MealSuite program.
- Works closely with Purchasing to include all new products within the MealSuite program at NEXDINE Hospitality.
- Create procedures and strategies to enhance and improve the performance of the MealSuite program at NEXDINE Hospitality.
- Manage all projects related to MealSuite within corporate and unit level
- Develop the project plan and manage the activities across all impacted functions with SMEs and client teams, to determine scope, timing, costs, and MealSuites ability to deliver successful solutions on-time
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with MealSuite project team members
- Work closely with operations stakeholders to document escalations, issues, and help resolve program risks and issues between colleagues, missed delivery commitments for product implementation, unexpected issues related to interfaces (including costs)
- Analyze and report on client initiatives, forecast for strategic changes, and report on key metrics
- Work with operations leaders, new unit onboarding colleagues and other internal and client partners to create Statements of Work for interfaces, system development, and other solutions as necessary to meeting our clients' expectations.
- Work with unit level colleagues and MealSuite teams to reach agreement on standard and unique unit level needs
- Works with Brand Experience and Nutrition Health and Wellness on development and maintenance of recipes, menus, and extensions at the corporate level within the MealSuite program.
- Develops and conducts training of colleagues through appropriate, coaching and mentoring to ensure strong operational performance within the MealSuite program.
- Assists with MealSuite training and development within new operations as needed.
- Develops, implements, and maintains operational policies, procedures, and standards aimed at achieving defined goals and initiatives within the MealSuite program.
- Assist with installation of hardware on site as needed.
Financial
- Aid the finance and operations colleagues with the review and development of MealSuite solutions and to deliver on meeting and reporting objectives according to proforma / budget.
- Responsible for ensuring that all MealSuite proposals, systems, and support are at competitive costs to meet organization and client expectations and enable growth of the organization.
- Generates preliminary MealSuite annual budget, generates financial reports that assist in budget monitoring, explains variances to budget, reforecast, and manages all department income and expenses to meet budget.
People
- Provide direction and manage performance of all colleagues working within MealSuite and provide feedback to operations leaders on the colleague's performance
- Manage and motivate colleagues through continuous communication and regular MealSuite training and meetings.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position oversees direct reports of the Brand Experience department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of direct or indirect reports within the department.
Work Environment
This job will include operating in an office environment or at a unit location as needed. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, televisions, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job may operate in an environment where they may be exposed to and/or required to operate equipment, including an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer, and chefs knives. The employee may be exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may be required to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push, pull or lift items weighing 25 pounds or less. Employees may be required to stand for periods of time, no more than two hours. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Must be able to travel as needed to unit locations.
Required Education and Experience
- CDM or RD (Registered Dietitian) preferred
- A.O.S degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 - 7 years experience in a similar leadership role
- Microsoft Office Suite
