Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Your main goal will be to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers while providing efficient and prompt service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure they are entered into the system correctly
- Deliver orders to the kitchen and bar and ensure timely delivery to guests
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and efficient manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns
- Clear tables and clean dining areas as needed
- Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Upsell additional products and services when appropriate
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Basic math skills to handle payments and provide accurate change
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and the ability to make recommendations to guests
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
