NexGen is currently seeking HVAC Install Helpers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Install Helpers perform basic HVAC tasks, assist our experienced HVAC Installers, and provide exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. The position will provide on the job training and learning while requiring adherence to workplace procedures, following health and safety guidance, and successfully completing tasks to help you gain further HVAC licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Assist installation of all brands and types of HVAC units
- Diagnose issues, replace parts and perform preventative maintenance
- Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas
- Performing start-up of equipment
- Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand or power tools
- Communicating efficiently with management, dispatch, and the customer to ensure overall success of the company
- Keeping accurate invoices and time sheets
- Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organized job site and inventoried truck
Qualifications
Do I have What it Takes?
- 1-2 years working in the Residential HVAC Installation Field
- Knowledge of HVAC codes and the ability to make on-the-job decisions
- EPA Certification
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs
- Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image
- Provide exceptional customer service while on the job site
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basis
- Results driven in a high-energy environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently
