IT Manager (Hands-on), Nashville, TN
The IT Manager is responsible for managing the company s IT and support personnel, work assignments, policies and processes. The successful IT Manager will have strong hands-on IT technical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, superb people management skills and strong interpersonal skills. Manufacturing industry experience is a big plus. This position is 100% Onsite.
IT Manager Responsibilities:
- Be the hands-on IT Manager; could be 70% hands-on / 30% management.
- Build a collaborative team environment.
- Be a good leader to manage projects, manage people, and motivate team.
- Looking for IT Manager to lead the group and work closely with a group in Somerset.
- Have leadership qualities and technical abilities.
- Come in and learn about the environment and infrastructure.
- Hop in and be hands-on when needed.
- Need to have a good work ethic and aptitude to learn.
- Personality and attitude are very important for this position.
- Travel to Memphis site once per month (3-hour drive).
IT Manager Qualifications:
- Experience managing IT Teams.
- Must have hands-on IT experience.
- Network includes, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Domain Controllers, LAN/WAN, Office Products, ERP, Open Sense Firewalls, Vonage VoIP, Ubiquity, VmWare, Windows, and Open Source Technologies.
- Need to have Network Administration experience.
- Experience with Microsoft suite.
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
- Ponderosa millwork software system is a plus.
