Job Summary The Controller will serve as a key member of the Accounting & Finance leadership team and will manage the overall operations of accounting for the company.  This position reports directly to the CFO.  She or he will oversee the accounting operations including all transaction processing, internal controls, and any other financial accounting compliance requirements. This position will serve as the primary interface to the external auditors and for any other reviews and audits by statutory agencies. Additionally, the Controller will be responsible for continuously introducing process improvements and introducing best practices to the Nextech accounting department. This is a high-visibility role that requires a heightened level of availability. The Controller must be extremely detail and deadline oriented and have exceptional internal and external communication skills.  This position will interact with all levels of management, including the C-Suite and Board of Directors. Advanced Excel and automation skills are required for this position. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
