Job Description

Nexthink has a committed content strategy for reaching prospects, communicating with customers, and educating the market. This already includes a successful podcast, a dedicated thought leadership platform, and a full range of multimedia content approaches. In 2022, Nexthink is dedicated to making video a more central pillar of this strategy and is looking for a versatile, driven video producer to work with its content team and make this a reality.

From recording company leadership, to collaborating with customers and thought leaders, to producing animations, to working on our podcast, there is a big opportunity here for a driven individual to experiment, test themselves and produce a full range of original and impactful work.

The successful candidate will get to experience the lively and stimulating environment of a disruptive, successful, and ambitious technology company. While prior corporate and industry experience is welcome, it isn’t as important as the creativity, versatility, and enthusiasm needed to make a big difference at Nexthink.

Day to Day responsibilities

• Drive projects forward — take part in coordination and execution of all facets of video production from pre-pro through post, including planning, shooting, editing, and incorporating feedback to meet deadlines.
• Produce video for a range of platforms within the digital ecosystem (social, web, and more) that display versatility of style while adhering to Nexthink’s brand standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing, Product, and Strategy teams to deliver content that supports our go-to-market campaigns
• Display strong narrative storytelling and design sense, including composition, color, and typography
• Produce videos to meet different business needs including technical features, event promotions, full-length podcast episodes, social media clips, interviews, talking head pieces, use cases, orientation videos, and more.
• Collaborate with design team and motion graphics designers during video post-production process
• Develop and maintain video asset library
• Stay up to date with current industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

•  3 years of experience in editing and videography or a combination of education and experience in this field
• A deep passion for film and video
• Confident both behind the camera and in the editor’s chair
• Proven ability to tell cohesive stories that communicate abstract concepts through engaging and easy-to-understand content
• Passion and proficiency with audio editing, music editing, mixing, and mastering, as well as digital video editing
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Pressure turns coal into diamonds, and you thrive in that environment, easily navigating time-sensitive situations with a keen attention to detail
• You are a natural collaborator and work well in a team environment, communicating effectively to other stakeholders, peers, colleagues and external partners
• Juggling is a side skill, aka you excel at coordinating and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing various projects to meet deadlines
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Nice to have – 3D Animation and design skills
