What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNG Driver - Hazmat position at NexTier?
Position Summary:The CNG Driver will be responsible for the safe trucking of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) from the NexTier Hub in Pecos, TX to customer locations. This position will report directly to the PSL Operations Manager-Power Solutions. We are currently executing an aggressive integrated strategy within the Permian Basin and we are looking for safety motivated, and passionate employees to join our team! This is the perfect opportunity for a dedicated individual who would like to leave their mark with a leading company in the industry. This position requires no handling of fluids and minimal climbing on equipment. I.E. clean and dry.Schedule:The position involves daily local driving between customer sites and the NexTier Pecos, TX CNG hub12-hour shifts am/pm or longer if needed within DOT complianceMultiple days off schedules available to accommodate drivers Per diem available for qualified candidatesResponsibilities:Safe transport of Compressed Natural Gas from hub compression stations to customer sitesSafe operation of tractor & trailer to/from off road customer locationsRemoval and transportation of empty CNG trailers from customer sites to Hub locationsHook-up and decoupling of hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reduction systemsPre/Post trip checks of operating vehiclesOther duties as assignedRequirements:Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with Hazmat (H) and Tank (N), or X endorsementMinimum 1-year verifiable Class A trucking experiencePreference will be given to drivers with prior oilfield hauling experienceExperience transporting HAZMAT is an assetMust be a safety minded, a self-starter, and a team playerClean Motor Vehicle Record(s) (MVR & PSP) with no suspensionsCandidates must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check, Fit-for-Duty, and D&A screen to be considered for employment
