What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at NextStep Care?

Next Step Care has a COVID-19 vaccinated workforce. New Associates must provide proof of vaccination prior to hire date.

SUMMARY:
Under limited direction plans, coordinates, manages and directs all operations of the assigned SOURCE Care Management location. Implements guidelines of SOURCE Care Management; leads data analysis for assigned location and communicates effectively on operations to the Regional Director, as a primary job function.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Thorough knowledge and enforcement of current regulations, as well as SCM Operational guidelines and best practices as related to the operations of the SOURCE Program and SCM.
  • Thorough knowledge, adherence and enforcement of SCM personnel guidelines.
  • Maintains constructive working relationships by communicating and interacting effectively with supervisors, organizational leadership, peers and individuals inside and outside the Organization, in a positive, professional and respectful manner.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making.
  • Portrays a positive image of the organization and communicates guiding principles, mission, vision and values.
  • Completes work in a timely, accurate, efficient and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments/responsibilities.
  • Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position.
  • Manages multiple deadlines with demonstrated flexibility in working with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a demanding, primarily self directed work schedule.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making.
  • Exhibits exceptional computer skills, good organizing and planning skills.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally as well as maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in emergencies situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with minimum of 2 years of experience in the health and human services field with at least 2 years in management or supervisory position OR
  • Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in health and human services field with at least 2 years in management or supervisory position OR
  • Valid LPN license with a minimum of 3 years experience in health and human services field with at least 3 years in management or supervisory position.
  • Experience in social work, home and community based services, healthcare or geriatrics preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation.
