Vibrant Care Pharmacy, a Nexus HR company, is looking for a
(Part-time) Pharmacist!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs the duties of a pharmacist working in a Long Term-care pharmacy in compliance with policy and state/federal regulations.
- Works with supervisory staff to continually develop and implement ideas for delivering high quality, cost effective services.
- Works independently; demonstrates leadership in the practice of pharmacy.
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain attention to detail in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to adapt and produce results in a fast growing company.
- Supervises pharmacy support personnel, which includes activities performed, work allocation between staff, and work performance (quality and quantity of work).
- Delegates aspects of the practice of pharmacy to a pharmacy intern or pharmacy technician within the parameters of their job description.
- Implements policy and regulatory required record systems and processes for the pharmacy.
- Be available for on-call services if required.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
- 2 years as a licensed pharmacist in the state of California in a retail or Long-term care setting is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in CA is required.
- Work in a team environment. We are looking for an experienced and motivated pharmacist who is determined to improve care for our patients by offering services not found at our competitors.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Oakland, CA.
- Authorized to work in the US.
