We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in developing and modifying care plans based on individual needs
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent implementation of therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with special needs

Skills:
- Care plans: Experience developing and implementing individualized care plans for clients
- Analyze: Ability to collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
- Special education: Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Behavior management: Proficient in using behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Behavioral therapy: Familiarity with evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions for individuals with autism
- Medical documentation: Experience maintaining accurate and detailed medical documentation
- Medical terminology: Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate patient care while following treatment plans
- Working with people with autism: Experience working effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Medical records: Proficient in maintaining and organizing medical records in compliance with regulations

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
