NFC Warehouse Coordinator Position
Job Summary
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely shipping, distribution, storing packaging and otherwise transporting of inventory. The Warehouse Coordinator will manage all inventory related functions at the Manchester facility.
Job Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting.
• Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficient move inventory around the warehouse.
• Have a workplan for the week of shipments, ship tickets are being created at least 24 hrs. before material delivery.
• Develop and update a cost comparison of trucking companies.
• Packaging inventory for safe shipping.
• Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert operations and project management staff if a delay occurs or is likely.
• Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of information and minimize the risk of inventory issues.
• Develop a database system to track receipt and delivery of materials
• Keeping the warehouse clean and neat
• Labeling materials and assigning designated spots for materials to be stored.
Job Requirements
• 5 years of experience in the Logistics field
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
• Strong experience with inventory software and control systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
