What are the responsibilities and job description for the BOM Administrator position at NFI Group?
ARBOC Specialty Vehicles - the leading manufacturer of small to mid-size low floor buses.
Position Summary:
As a key member of our Bill of Material team you will help in the creation and maintenance of all manufacturing bill of material and related data/transactions necessary to support production, engineering and purchasing.
What you will do:
- Regularly maintain and update Bill of Materials
- Make sure correct parts and quantities are listed
- Review Engineering change orders and update BOM’s as necessary
- Work with operations and purchasing to coordinate activities
- Review sales and production orders for correct interpretation and feasibility.
- Take pictures of parts and enter them into system
- Other tasks as assigned

Skills and Experience:
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Excellent self-manager, with demonstrated ability to succeed as part of a team.
· Experience in a manufacturing process a plus.
· Knowledge of bus manufacturing or transit industry would be considered an asset.
