CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be the primary point of contact for New Flyer Bus and MCI Coach Bids and Contracts. You will be responsible for identifying the NFI Parts requirements for bus and coach bids, preparing NFI Parts related bid submissions, and facilitating completion of all NFI Parts related contract deliverables for awarded bus and coach contracts.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maintain good working relationships with New Flyer Bus and MCI Coach Sales and Customer Program Management teams.
- Review all customer bid specifications and prepare a summary of the requirements that pertain to the NFI Parts business.
- Attend bid strategy meetings with bus/coach sales team to support NFI Parts bid requirements.
- Modify standard templates to include customer specific information for inclusion in final bid proposal submission.
- Maintain a library of standard NFI Parts bid proposal submission responses.
- Identify and acquire pricing for bus and coach spare parts as requested in the bid/contract.
- Responsible for maintaining the Bus/Coach Bid Tracker.
- Attend pre-production meetings with Customer Program Management to support NFI Parts contract requirements.
- Facilitate the fulfillment of final customer contract deliverables for all bus/coach contracts with the appropriate NFI Parts teams.
- Coordinate the preparation of contract deliverables as defined in the bus/coach contract.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Bid and Contract experience would be considered an asset
- Adept with MS office, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Two years or more experience in a manufacturing industry would be considered an asset
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- A technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret BOM and engineering drawings considered an asset
- Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, effectively prioritize and work efficiently in a high demanding fast paced work environment
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of existing bus and coach equipment
