What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Compliance Manager position at NFI, LLC?

Position Summary

Management and continuous improvement of the quality of Design Mark’s products, tools and systems. Plans, coordinates, and directs company quality program. Establishes quality and reliability standards for both internally produced goods and for incoming raw materials. Writes and documents inspection and testing procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy standards.

· Formulates and maintains quality objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other company personnel to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

· Writes and documents quality inspection and testing procedures.

· Directs direct reports engaged in quality inspection activities to assure established quality standards are met.

· Maintains established procedures for vendor qualification and inspection.

· Maintains quality inspection of incoming materials and supplies for production.

· Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.

· Acts as ISO Management Representation.

· Investigates quality problems as a result of customer returns.

· Prepare work order inspection reports.

· Complete customer quality surveys.

· Maintain the approved supplier program.

· Daily management of the quality-production data.

· Rigorous management of the quality program, including audits, training and CI projects.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Knowledge of the following quality standards: ISO9001 & AS9100

· Bachelor’s degree in quality management or three to five plus quality management experience; or equivalent combination of education training, and experience. Strong skills in work planning, scheduling.

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and numerical data. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, sales reps and employees.

· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations to printing jobs.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

· Knowledge of quality standards: ISO 9001
