Deputy GOTV Director
Organize NH, the 2022 New Hampshire Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign, is hiring a Deputy Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Director to plan and implement a statewide GOTV program to help ensure Democratic victories across the state in 2022. New Hampshire is a critical state in 2022 at all levels of the ballot - join us to reelect U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan, Reps. Annie Kuster and Chris Pappas, regain the governorship and state legislative majorities in next year’s elections, as well as build lasting progressive infrastructure.
This position will report to the GOTV Director and is based in New Hampshire.
Your role will include:
- Assist the GOTV Director in facilitating the statewide GOTV program in order to elect Democrats up and down the ticket.
- Assist with building inter departmental systems and structures in order to facilitate a strong GOTV program.
- Ensure effective and efficient cross departmental communications especially with adjacent deputies in other departments.
- Supervise Regional GOTV leads ensuring that there is accountability in regard to deadlines, plans and benchmarks.
- Execute GOTV planning and preparation including turf cutting and packet distribution, supplies distribution and establishing staging locations.
- Maintain relationships between local electeds, county and town chairs and organizing staff to facilitate an effective GOTV plan.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- At least two cycles of statewide campaign organizing experience, including at least one cycle of managing staff, is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience and ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
- Commitment to electing New Hampshire Democrats up and down the ballot.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience designing and delivering in-person and virtual trainings for staff and volunteers.
- Ties to New Hampshire are welcomed, but not required.
