JOB TITLE: Estimator
LOCATION: Tennessee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Analyzes documentation (drawings, 3D models, specifications, proposals, etc.) to prepare materials, tooling and labor cost estimates for non-complex jobs and/or revisions to existing jobs per customer specifications.
- Assists with more complex jobs with the guidance of senior level estimators.
- Helps determine necessary resources for project based on cost estimates and budgetary constraints. Relies on judgment and limited experience to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of additional tasks.
- May work under the guidance of more experienced (senior level) Estimator; typically reports to a Supervisor/Manager.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Use of Excel and OMS Office products required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or previous estimating experience.
- Position requires creativity and attention to detail, solid numbers proficiency, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Basic computer skills required to navigate ERP system and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a fast paced and high stress environment.
- Ability to use 3D modeling software, preferably Solidworks.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,385.00 per year
