We are looking for Laborers to execute a variety of tasks with minimal supervision in a safe and efficient manner. As a laborer, you will be responsible for assisting our Carpenters with any carpentry or construction-related project. You will prepare surfaces, hang drywall, frame stairs and mow lawns. You should possess basic math skills and work well in a team environment. Since you will need to use various tools, including power saws and drills, basic knowledge of construction techniques is essential. You must be able to lift heavy objects such as furniture and equipment to move them. As a Laborer, your main goal will be to help us finish all types of projects on time and without delay.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of daily tasks in the residential and commercial construction environment.
- Load and unload necessary materials on to or from the job site (e.g. perform manual labour).
- Do any necessary tasks asked of you and taught to you by the superintendent or team members
- Cleaning up job site
