Inspired by Kilee's personal aesthetic, we design and curate high quality fashion jewelry and accessories. Nickel & Suede jewelry is designed and manufactured in Kansas City using Italian leather and high-quality metals. We operate our own production and shipping facility as well as three brick and mortar locations. POSITION OVERVIEW:

Nickel and Suede is looking for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about ecommerce and fashion to join our growing e-commerce business. Under the direction of our CEO and Digital Advisor, this role will be responsible for managing online products, merchandising, promotional deployments, and online inventory. This is a fast-paced environment so candidates must have the ability to handle multiple projects, issues, and tasks while meeting and exceeding deadlines daily.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the Shopify platform and become an expert in site capability and functionality. Maintain current knowledge of Shopify and app updates.
  • Supervise the daily management and maintenance of all online content and product merchandising.
  • Execute quality assurance on nickelandsuede.com. Build and review all product listings, web content, pricing, images, descriptions, site updates and promotions. Perform site updates including editing content pages, promotional landing pages, and brand support materials.
  • Manage online inventory. Collaborate with internal product and buying teams and analyze website metrics and recommend inventory movement and adjustments to maximize site sales.
  • Maintain a calendar for all marketing campaigns executed online.
  • Ensure all necessary user experience, performance, and production testing is conducted and documented.
  • Optimize SEO and tagging across the site to optimize traffic and conversion to meet KPI targets.
  • Responsible for reporting and recommending optimizations to improve site performance including conversion, AOV, product performance and health of key pages to meet KPI targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven success managing eCommerce platforms with a strong understanding of internet technology. Shopify preferred.
  • Experience in website analytics with proven ability to use the metrics to drive business decisions.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM and Google Product Feeds.
  • Strong process and procedures understanding.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate needs and priorities.
  • Analytical and technical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret online customer behavior and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Organizational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in Photoshop and other Adobe programs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Shopify experience required.
  • 1-3 years or more eCommerce professional experience.
  • Web content software experience required.
  • Some remote evening hours are required.
