The Nicollet Island Inn is looking for part-time auditors. The INN is a boutique hotel, bar, and restaurant located on Nicollet Island in Minneapolis. Located on a bus line and has lots of open free parking.

As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The most important task is to close the books for the day -- On the restaurant, hotel, and events departments.
Training will be provided to a candidate who has computer and basic accounting skills.
Pay is hourly, and payroll is weekly. Pay is a $15 minimum, depending on skills and ability to understand the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and any inquiries or requests throughout the night.
- Audit Duties: Perform end-of-day processing and reconcile daily revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle reservations, process payments, and resolve guest issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Reporting: Generate nightly reports, including financial statements and occupancy statistics.
- Security: Monitor the property to ensure safety and security for both guests and staff. Respond promptly to any security issues or emergencies.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the day shift team, sharing relevant information and updates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred, but not required. Experience with accounting or financial reporting is a plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software.
- Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
- Flexibility: Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Team Player: Positive attitude and a collaborative approach to working with team members and guests.
