DESCRIPTION Draft scope documents for software solutions that solve the business problems and user requirements. Document the solution architecture, the assumptions and implications of the solution developed, and the operational guidelines for the product. Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog for the data processing and methodology teams based on client feedback, contractual commitments, technical stack enhancements, strategic planning and industry analysis. Establish and facilitate an issue tracking and resolution process for the scrum team and work with other internal teams to ensure client enquiries are resolved within a defined SLA. Monitor and analyze the data reported via the production system on an ongoing basis to ensure quality of deliverables. Conduct impact analyses of data for new technology or methodology to ensure continuity of data trends. Conduct customer feedback sessions and attend industry body meetings to identify customer and marketplace needs and priorities. Align with relevant owners of other dependent systems and teams to ensure alignment on input/output, dependencies, timelines, assumptions and KPIs. Maintain a project milestone tracker to communicate status and risks to senior management and external stakeholders as needed. Create product marketing documents to translate product features into customer value propositions, and create training and go-to-market material, best practices and product usage documentation for internal and external customers. Serve as the point of contact for data enquiries from clients regarding new methodology launches, data availability, product quality and usability. Involves the opportunity to telecommute from within the Oldsmar, FL area up to two (2) days per week, as feasible. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with an information technology focus (U.S. or foreign degree equivalent) plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in software product development OR Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with an information technology focus (U.S. or foreign degree equivalent) plus three (3) years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in software product development Three (3) years of experience required with: Drafting technical and methodological system requirements for engineering teams and translating them to product specifications for users; utilizing any of the following SQL based software: mySQL, Oracle, Postgres or Athena; utilizing any of the following object oriented based software: Java, Scala, Python or C ; working with cloud computing technologies like AWS and running analytics to ensure quality of the data reported; working with big data storage and machine learning algorithms; performing Business Analytics or related software product development and support; working with Agile software development practices including SAFE and SCRUM models; working with ADLM tools including all of the following: JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, and Gliffy; creation of scrum team backlogs; facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing the dependencies across multiple upstream/downstream systems; performing Project Management and reporting of milestones using Smartsheets; and direct client engagement for product roadmap discovery, post launch support, and user feedback management. Two (2) years of experience required with: product management of data analytics and machine learning models.
