BASES Line & Price Practice - Spain or other European country
ABOUT THIS JOB:
The BASES Line & Price practice runs industry leading simulated test market solutions to consult manufacturers and retailers on product innovation, assortment, pricing, promotion and price pack architecture. A critical and growing part of the Line & Price practice is engaging with emerging Revenue Growth Management & Planning functions at CPG manufacturers. To accelerate this growth we are seeking a commercial sales lead to grow penetration with these partners, and deepen relationships and engagement through and beyond individual projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Increase Line & Price Practice revenue through increased penetration and repeat with CPG manufacturer Revenue Growth Management teams
- Your top priority is to increase revenue of BASES Line & Price solutions with Revenue Growth Management functions at CPG manufacturers
- You will partner with BASES Client Development associates to engage clients, either individually leading prospecting/engagement efforts or working with Client Development associates to prospect/engage clients as a subject matter expert
- In addition to selling ad-hoc projects, you will also be tasked with developing relationships, converting project buyers into long-term clients, and looking for opportunities to embed BASES solutions at an enterprise level
- Partner with Line & Price Sr Leads aligned to specific accounts to setup client engagements for success and repeat
Lead project teams to deliver best in class insights
- Your engagement with clients extends beyond the sale of a project, to provide your knowledge and expertise with the aligned project team
- You should provide insights to the team to support consultation beyond the data and add context to the study results
- For deeper client engagement you may increase revenue opportunity by offering consulting services, including general hours, workshops, etc
Act as an advisor to commercial and product leadership on solution enhancements and new products to deliver against business goals
- Acts as the voice of the client to advise on under-served client needs and white space opportunities
- Consults with Product Leadership with development and rollout on new tools, enhancements and products
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:
As a subject matter expert in revenue growth management, pricing, promotion, and price pack architecture you are able to call upon your experience and contacts within the industry to grow the BASES Line & Price Optimizer product. You are able to speak confidently on these specific business questions, while also curious to grow and learn how Discrete Choice and the LPO product work to deliver against client needs. You are also highly flexible with this as a new role on the team, open to a changing structure and environment, and an active participant in growing and evolving the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6 years experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
- Experience either in revenue management roles at manufacturers or in roles at suppliers/consultancies advising manufacturers on pricing, promotions, and price-pack architecture
- Closely connected with CPG manufacturers, particularly individuals in revenue growth management or pricing and promotion roles
