Front Desk Coordinator Needed

Our busy Eye Care practice needs a Front Desk Coordinator to help us give our patients a 5-star experience all the time, every time!
How will you make a difference?
As our Front Desk Coordinator, you will have the incredible honor to set the stage for each patient’s appointment. When our patients walk in, you will be the first person they see to reassure them they have made the right decision in choosing our practice, you have the opportunity to change their day! Not only that, but it sets the expectation for the appointment and lets our patients know their appointment will go as smooth as possible, allowing the patient to be receptive to our recommendations.
Your duties as a Front Desk Coordinator will include:
- Making sure patients feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door
- Pleasantly answering questions, validating insurances, and ensuring follow up care is not overlooked
- Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts
- Assisting patients in making the best medical and economical choices based on insurance coverage
- Assisting in opening and closing the office
- Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
- Scheduling and confirming appointments, re-engaging prior patients, and assisting patients in getting placed on the schedule for outside referral/specialist appointments needed
- You will be the go-to person in the office to assist the team when our day gets hectic, filling in to ensure our ship sails smoothly
- Accurately taking payments and applying them to patient accounts

Experience Needed:
Prior medical office experience is prefered, but it’s certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning!
