SUMMARY
It is the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to coordinate all essential duties in order to facilitate successful advertising and sales plans of NFI. Responsibility includes projects for all retail formats as well as the internal communications of NFI. The Marketing Manager is an important leadership role that is expected to represent the strongest of customer and associate values of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages Marketing Department Team and facilitate weekly department project meetings
- Supervises project planning, production and output from the graphic design team Manage retail advertising projects and coordinate resources as needed to complete projects
- Participates in retail advertising and promotion planning activities and meetings as needed
- Prepares, monitors, and reports on all retail advertising and promotions budget activity
- Works with retail store teams to assist in planning and coordination of local marketing sales events and projects
- Manages planning and execution of traditional media, including the production of creative to support brand strategies
- Manages activities and support services of any advertising and placement agencies and services representing Niemann Foods
- Manages operational needs of marketing department and provide leadership for marketing department team
- Coordinate all advertising related activity as they apply to functions of the NFI Buying and IT departments
- Works with the consumer products vendors and suppliers of NFI to generate a positive return on vendor investment
- Works with other NFI departments to plan and produce support materials as needed such as brochures, posters and other communication materials
- Coordinate retail concept development projects, consumer research projects, transition of concept and design work to A&E and construction, environmental graphics production
- Work with ecommerce solution providers for platform, operations and maintenance. Monitor growth and execution of the services while providing consumer marketing and communications
- Follows all store and department policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
- Directly supervises non-supervisory Associates.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- (BS) Business Administration degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school;
- And two to five years related experience and/or training;
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
