Job Description
My client a leading IT Consulting firm is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (MSP). (Canada Only, No Agencies).
Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements.
- Implement and maintain Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and Azure Active Directory.
- Proficient with Azure Migration tasks and Azure Virtual Desktop setup and configuration.
- Configure and optimize Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Databases. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps experience would be preferred but not mandatory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop cloud-based solutions that align with business needs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and scalability challenges.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect cloud resources and data, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks using Azure automation and scripting tools.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into application development and deployment processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and recommend improvements to optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Document processes, configurations, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.
