Nurse Educator

Nightingale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has an immediate opening for a Nurse Educator. Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center, under new management, is a Long-Term Care facility that is newly renovated and provides quality care to our residents. Educational Requirements/Experience

 ·         RN preferred

·         At least one year of experience working in a nursing facility

·         Highly organized

·         Previous teaching/training experience

·         Microsoft Office proficient

 

Duties are varied and include:

·    Develop, implement, and maintain an effective training program for all new and existing staff, contracted staff, and volunteers, consistent with their expected roles. 

·         Establish educational needs and goals, follow through on meeting those goals

·         Lead audits

·         Work cooperatively with the clinical team

·         Take the extra mile and interact with residents as needed
