About the Role
We are seeking Instructional Designers (ID) to join our team and support a global initiative aimed at transforming GxP (Good Practices) learning across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact project within a leading life sciences organization.
The selected candidates will be responsible for converting current GxP policies and procedures into instructionally sound learning experiences, driving consistency, and improving learning outcomes across the organization. The project will kick off with Phase 1, covering seven sites, with the potential for expansion to all 30 sites globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global and site-specific teams to identify redundancies in learning content and develop a cohesive, instructionally sound learning curriculum.
- Design and develop engaging and effective learning solutions that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Work on-site at designated locations to ensure the successful deployment of new learning experiences.
- Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to manage evolving priorities and constraints.
- Contribute to the overall goal of reducing time to proficiency for new operators, improving learner retention, and enabling a more flexible workforce.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in instructional design, preferably in a regulated environment such as life sciences.
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity in eLearning development tools including, but not limited to, Articulate Storyline, Audacity, Camtasia, and Vyond.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, JavaScript, and Technical Writing.
- Ability to drive design processes and lead the development of instructional materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GxP learning or a similar regulatory framework.
- Background in life sciences or manufacturing environments.
