Camp Counselor

Our Arenas are the best place for kids, families and adults to play, train and compete and we love being the “go-to” place for birthday parties, field trips, day camps, afterschool classes, open gym time, large group events, and more.

Position Description:

Summer Camp Counselors are offered an opportunity to join a rapidly-growing national sports company as an integral member of a Ninja Nation arena. Camp Counselors work within the obstacle arena providing a fun and exciting camp experience for all participants. They assist in facilitating games, challenges and open gym for all Ninja Camp participants. They also assist with runnign field trips that come to Ninja Nation for a best-in-class experience!

In addition to providing a set curriculum for our Summer Camp participants, Camp Counselors have the opportunity to lead parties on Saturdays and Sundays following a defined Ninja Nation Birthday Experience. They will be a key contributor to the culture of each arena, responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for each ninja participant.

Experience & Qualities needed for this role:

• A passion for health, fitness and working with kids of all ages

• Have the ability to multitask and supervise multiple children at a time
• Have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients of all ages and abilities

Responsibilities include:

• Leading safety talks with all camp participants
• Leading groups of kids though our obstacle arena in stations and open play
• Providing a safe fun environment for kids of all ages on obstacles
• Assisting in setting up games and challenges for all Ninja Camp Participants
• Assisting in running field trips of various sizes
• Actively spotting kids on obstacles
• Working with other Ninja Nation Staff on the arena floor to maintain a safe and engaging experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
