Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate with ISR Division personnel to ensure intelligence information systems are integrated and support all AOC processes for approximately four exercises and/or tests per year.
- Provide operational assistance to users of intelligence information systems and initial troubleshooting of system failures for approximately four exercises and/or tests per year.
- Ensure receipt of information and proper data exchange, i.e. target lists, Modernized Intelligence Database (MIDB), etc. from other C4I system equipment into AOC ISR systems for approximately four exercises and/or tests per year.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate AOC ISR systems downtime and upgrades and timelines, establishing and coordinating priorities as appropriate approximately ten times per year.
- Participate in Development Testing and Evaluation (DT&E and OT&E) as ISR system and application SME approximately five times per year.
- Provide Intelligence and Reconnaissance Division (IRD) applications training to approximately 30 newly assigned ISR Division personnel per year.
- Collaborate with local AOC Training Managers as necessary to ensure mission qualification training (MQT) requirements and instruction are accurate and reflect the individual AOC configurations, technologies, and support responsibilities on an approximately quarterly basis.
- Provide/edit comments for Software Load Manuals, Software User Manuals, Implementation Plans, Cautions, Notes, and Warnings, Miscellaneous technical documents as required by installation efforts. Provide documentation to the responsible organization for each particular event.
- Work with site Configuration Manager (CM) to perform/maintain change control and associated documentation for hardware and software
- Travel in support of operations in support of war, contingency and humanitarian operations, exercises, and experiments that may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of ISR systems, platforms, sensors, and data collection techniques, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), satellites, and ground-based sensors.
- Strong understanding of intelligence analysis methodologies, tradecraft, and tools (e.g., Palantir, Analyst's Notebook, ArcGIS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with operational and unit level ISR systems/software and configuration management processes for an AOC, Joint AOC, Coalition AOC, or other service equivalent operational level C2 node.
- Completion of formal AOC FTU Course or service equivalent.
- Completion of service intelligence course.
- Participation in AOC exercises or operations as AOC ISR division member.
- Demonstrated proficiency using unclassified NIPRNet and classified networks to include NIPRNet, SIPRNet, Partner/Coalition and JWICS
- Air Staff, MAJCOM, or NAF staff experience.
- Must currently possess or be able to obtain an IAT Level II cert within 6 months of hire
- Ability to pass a background check.
