Responsibilities:
- Oversee medical service activities and personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and providing primary care services.
- Oversee specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation of test results.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records in accordance with established guidelines.
- Plan and coordinate patient schedules.
- Keep the budget in check and order medical and office supplies.
- Design and implement office policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead office staff.
- Oversee and manage all paperwork for patient care, medical compliance, and reporting.
- Ensure positive collaboration between a multi-disciplinary team.
- Keep inventory records.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform physical examinations and provide primary care services.
- Experience managing a team and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and documentation requirements.
- Previous working experience as a Medical Office Manager, Nurse Manager or equivalent for a minimum of 3 years.
- Sales acumen.
- Hands-on experience with accounting and administrative operations.
- In-depth knowledge of medical procedures, operations, and terminology.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of home care practices and regulations is a plus.
- Experience in IV Vitamin therapy preferred.
- Wound care experience required.
