Overview
- Maintain accurate and complete personnel records to include mentoring to ensure the ongoing development and performance of claims representative; hold monthly team meetings and regular one on one meetings.
- Instruct and counsel claims representatives on established, new, and revised procedures and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Intercede and handle individual claims when appropriate.
- Review claims representatives' work product for accuracy, thoroughness, and conformity with NJM's policies and practices.
- Complete payment approvals, supervisor reviews, release reviews, file closing reviews, close claim audits, NICE call reviews, and update and monitor departmental metrics.
- Become a Certified Auto Subrogation Arbitrator within 6 months and hear required cases on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2 years of Subrogation claims experience and/or prior claim supervisor experience
- Maintained compliance with required metrics in current role
- Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and time effectively
- Technical aptitude
- Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic.
