Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Assist the Senior Recruiter with onsite onboarding and orientation for trainee classes, located in Utah, no more than once per quarter.
- Employee Engagement:
- Assist with planning and executing employee engagement initiatives to enhance company culture and retention.
- Manage employee recognition programs and contribute to improving overall employee satisfaction.
- Leave of Absences & Benefits Administration:
- Oversee leave of absence processes, including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, and other types of employee leave.
- Coordinate benefits administration by forwarding employee inquiries to the third-party benefits administrator and responding to requests from the administrator as needed to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation in the HRIS system.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues and concerns.
- Assist with conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes as needed.
- Marketing & Branding:
- Manage internal communication initiatives, including the creation and distribution of a company-wide newsletter and the upkeep of an internal message board. Ensure all content is engaging, informative, and aligned with company objectives.
- Assist in developing and implementing branding strategies to strengthen the company’s internal and external image, including employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
