Lincoln Tech in Paramus, NJ is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to assist with managing the Nursing Education Department for the LPN Program. This role is responsible for the evening program and reports to the Director of Nursing.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- MSN Required, Active NJ RN license
- 2 years post secondary teaching experience
- 3 years of recent nursing experience
- 2 years of management experience
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced changing environment
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

- Responsible for success of the evening LPN program
- Critical team member in faculty recruitment, hiring, orientation and onboarding
- Mentor faculty members; provide support and direction to enable Instructors to reach teaching excellence
- Evaluate and updates the Faculty Education Plan (FEP) for all nursing faculty
- Manage the academic schedule for the evening program in cooperation with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Site Manager
- Oversee the Clinical Skill Lab, including scheduling of students and faculty
- Conduct classroom observations and surveys; reviews the results with faculty, students, and the Director of Nursing as appropriate
- Manage student progress from orientation to graduation
- Address students' questions and concerns in a responsive and timely manner
- Support and enforce school and academic policies and procedures
- Report to the Director of Nursing
