SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Systems Analyst provides project task coordination, functional expertise, and contributes to improvements and enhancements for all NN’s manufacturing-related systems. The Site Analyst is responsible for assisting in the completions of service desk tickets and project work assigned by the Server Operations Manager serving as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.
This individual’s principal goals are to support internal customers on implementing companies standard set of manufacturing system solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide level 1 helpdesk support and respond to escalated user-submitted tickets
- Be on-site daily, this is not a remote position
- Participate in manufacturing solutions implementations at all NN facilities according to project work plans developed by Management
- Assist in the documentation of work processes; maintain central documentation records
- Performs tasks for all applicable compliance reporting, including Sarbanes Oxley, ITAR among others
- Implement system-based process improvements at manufacturing locations based on IT requirements, security needs, and procedures.
- Prototype new procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow with the IT standards, security needs, and procedures.
- Ability to use service desk system for documenting change management
- Collaborate with on-site consultants and service providers who participate in the implementation of manufacturing solutions
- Perform end-user training as needed
- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the Server Operations Manager

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and write in English, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals and specifications and guidelines from relevant regulatory agencies. Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from the Chief Information Officer and Executive Management Team, divisional leadership teams, plant managers, department heads, Internal Audit, and end users. Must be able to communicate well with others, including top management and/or end users.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to recognize amounts and compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to work with certain mathematical concepts and/or statistical inference. Ability to read production sheets, graphs and understand their practical application. Ability to utilize and apply data collection and analysis techniques.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with Six Sigma tools, as needed
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply basic reasoning skills to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Minimum Associates Degree, or BA/ BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related business field preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Experience in Office 365 administration, training, and supporting Office applications
- Must be team oriented and have excellent collaboration skills.
- Must be able and willing to perform travel to sites, sometimes 20% to 30%. (Most of this is day travel)
