Fraud Analyst

Pay rate: $18 USD / hour with an increase to $20 USD / hour, following 3 months of successful service.

Who we are:

NoFraud is a New York-based startup building a team in Australia to initially support US businesses as we establish our presence in Australia. NoFraud was founded on the belief that ecommerce businesses should be able to grow without fear of fraud. Our automated solution combines machine learning with human intelligence to identify fraudster behavior, protecting our customers from unauthorized credit card use and resulting fraud chargebacks.

We are looking for individuals who are resourceful, bright, logical, curious, proactive, works well independently and as part of a team, and who will be passionate about fighting fraud! 

This job will be mostly remote/work from home, regardless of COVID-19. We are looking for an individual to support our team by working on both Saturdays and Sundays, with two days off during the week (your choice of days). We will also consider a part time (3-4 day) schedule for the right candidate. This is a contract position, and the job holder must be self-employed. 

What you'll do:

• Research and analyze transactions to determine authenticity
• Interact with cardholders to determine transaction authenticity
• Interact with clients and respond to inquiries
  

What you'll achieve:

• Measurably identify and prevent consumer fraud activity for our business customers
• Maintain high client satisfaction levels
• Maintain consumer personal and pay card data privacy and security
  

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, new graduates welcome
• Excellent research and observation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making ability
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and responsibly
• Great attention to detail and an ability to pick up on patterns and trends
• Creative and abstract thinker when needed
• Strong work ethic
• Collaborative personality
• Good general knowledge of U.S. society and geography
