NOBULL’s mission is to create a globally disruptive brand by developing simply innovative products that perform for their customers.  


We are currently seeking a Director, Events. This new position will manage our events team overseeing all of our brand events and activations. This individual will partner closely with their team, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to develop and execute all aspects of events for the brand. This includes large scale activations at the NFL Combine or CROSSFIT games, community-based events, PGA events and many others. In addition, they will oversee and manage strategic planning as it relates to event and vendor management for NOBULL. Events are a critical part of our marketing strategy, and this person will have an opportunity to help shape and drive this important piece of our business.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the delegation, coordination, planning, management, and logistics of all aspects of events
  • Provide on-site supervision of events and lead company execution on event day(s)
  • Effectively manage internal event staff, providing necessary leadership, support and guidance
  • Ensure proper partnerships with vendors
  • Partner with leadership to develop, implement, and manage strategic planning as it relates to vendor/client management, budgets, and policy/procedures for event related functions
  • Prepare and maintain event budgets
  • Ensure contractual obligations and company policies/procedures are maintained
  • Navigate internal workflows and effectively communicate internally to ensure Events /activations are executed. Ensure company policies & procedures are maintained
  • Approve event invoices for payment, making sure they are captured in settlement, and approve/submit to the Finance Department
  • Ensure detailed production notes for each event are compiled and disseminated
  • Compile and communicate all event requirements to various departments
  • Lead cultivation of relationships with clients and promoters
  • Collaborate with Partnerships department to identify new opportunities
  • 30-35% travel, mostly domestic with some international 


Qualifications
  • 12 years of related experience
  • Proven experience overseeing large scale events as well as smaller community-based activations, preferably in sports and/or retail
  • Strong Communication skills and ability to successfully partner across multiple business functions as well as with external partners and vendors
  • Ability to foster a positive, supportive working environment, under the stress of large-scale events 
  • Ability to problem solve on the fly and operate in the gray 
  • Must maintain an entrepreneurial mindset and see challenges as opportunities
  • Position requires a can-do, whatever it takes to get the job done attitude
  • Experience overseeing contracts and invoicing for vendor partners
  • Ability to manage large groups of event staff in a motivational, team orientated environment
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty 
  • The highest level of attention to detail
  • Comfort with basic technology; G-Suite/ Google Workspace, MS Office Suite, & Zoom 
  • Ability to travel 30-35% of the year
