Project description
- Defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and oversight of planning and execution of the work
- Ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with senior management
- Directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects / programs.
- Monitoring financials to ensure budget compliance
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
- Direct cross-functional and / or cross-segment teams
- Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
- Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
- Defining and managing project schedules, resources and delivery commitments
- Setting up tasks using the CA Agile Central tool
- Performing data collection and analysis activities using MS Excel
- Conducting weekly project meetings to ensure deadlines are being met and the project is kept on target
- Collaborating with Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Creating / Updating project status reports for program rollup and management review
- Mitigating and managing project risks and issues
Requirements
Skills
Must have
- Hands-on experience leading / managing computer migration projects or similar integration delivery initiatives (i.e. : integrations, hardware replacements, IT Service Management-based approach etc.),
- Experience with tracking the project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines,
- Knowledge of Project Management best practices, procedures, and standard methodologies (Waterfall & Agile (Scrum framework))
- IT infrastructure experience, ideally with exposure to network / security / hosting
- Solid experience with MS Office
Nice to have
- PMP Cert is a plus
- Supervisory experience
