Position Title: Copywriting and Editor Intern

Location: Remote - Full-time

Enrolled in a college or university in the fall of 2024, pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, English or similar field.

The team you'll be part of

As a Copywriting and Editor Intern, you will gain experience as a writer and editor in a corporate environment. You will meet with product experts to understand their ongoing projects and then create articles, web copy, blog posts, video scripts, and eBook copy based on their input. Additionally, you will edit some of their writing to ensure it is ready for publication.

Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

• Meet with our experts to understand what they are working on, then write articles, web copy, social media copy, blog posts, video scripts, eBook copy, and other marketing copy.
• Conducting thorough proofreading and copy editing to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials. This includes collaborating with the marketing team to review and edit already drafted materials.
• Learning and maintaining the Nokia brand voice in your writing.
• Providing recommendations to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of writing for marketing, including generative AI.
  
  

Required Skills

You have:

• Enrolled in a college or university in the fall of 2024, pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, English or similar field.
• With strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Able to articulate the business benefits of technology.
• Proficient in proofreading and copy editing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  
  

A basic understanding of marketing concepts or technology trends is a plus.
