Job Description

Position: SW Automation Engineer Co-op

Duration: 4 or 8 moths

Date: January 2025

Location: Hybrid Dallas Texas

Education Recommendations:

Preference over a candidate with at least junior standing towards their bachelor's degree in any of the following programs: artificial intelligence, telecommunication, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems from an accredited college or university in the US.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of the team, you will:

• Learn about new NOKIA Network Automation products.
• Contribute to experimenting in Network automation Lab with new Automation Workflows and close-loop automation use cases.
• Analyze the results of the experiments comparing those to the current customer process.
• Provide analysis results and propose improvements to be applied to the automation workflow.
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Familiarity with SW programming for Software Defined Networks and data analytics
• General knowledge in Telecommunication with preferred study in Optics DWDM networks and IP Routing
• Understanding of NETCONF/YANG model
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Understanding of Mistral workflows or similar
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
