What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finished goods position at Nolato?
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Finished Goods Specialist performs the final audit on boxes processed. Visually inspect product
for quality, quantity, lot number, part number and proper package.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS :
- Produce bar code labels for product that is skidded on the floor
- Weigh and label product coming up conveyor belt
- Stamp boxes with lot #
- When product requires, will add water of desiccant to shipping bag
- If a partial box is obtained, will affix "Partial Box", sticker to the box
- Responsible for items placed on "Hold"
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and produce measured results
- Great attention to detail a must
- Ability to identify problems and communicate solutions in a constructive and positive manner
- Good attendance record
- Good safety record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work additional hours and weekends when needed
