I am currently recruiting for a challenging and rewarding role as a Technical Sales Manager. The chosen candidate will be offered an attractive salary and bonus incentives to be earned over the year. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work for a Global chemical company that is one of the largest producers of chemical products, glass, and ceramics
What you will be doing in the role
Develops and meets annual sales budget from existing, targeted, and prospective accounts through direct, written, and verbal sales contact.
Negotiates contracts to secure business by setting up pricing, terms, volumes
Manages cost center budget to effectively support relationships with customers
Communicates to business unit an understanding of customer markets/business trends
Supplies sales forecasts, budgets, account call reports, and territory presentations.
Maintains a competitive knowledge base of account portfolio to support an updated SWOT analysis.
Participates in sales meetings and conference calls
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or another technical field; or Business and/or marketing background
A proven track record with prior sales and/or technical experience is required
Frequent overnight travel required for managing territory (30-50%)
Preference for their experience with Alternative Energies (Wind Power, Solar Power, etc.), Power Generation, Power Storage, or Power Transmission
Location is Open, but CO, TX, AZ, and CA have higher levels of Alt energy locations.
