**Incumbent eligible for a $500 signing bonus payable after 6 months of continuous service**

Position Summary: The Ingredient Materials Inventory Control Lead is responsible for the timely, accurate loading of outbound shipments, as well as inbound of raw materials, put away of finished goods from production line. Responsible for updating and maintaining inventory in several different computer systems.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
  • Clean dock plates.
  • Identify, inspect and store organic goods.
  • Complete incoming Inspection Stamp.
  • Operate “Walk and Push” floor scrubber. 
  • Charge Electric lift trucks and fill battery cells when necessary. 
  • Safely operate baler. 
  • Ensure 1955 Cold Box and Freezer temperatures are at correct level. 
  • Dispose of trademark materials and provide proper documentation. 
  • Complete Inventory Control Cleaning Inspection Checklist.
  • Unload/Load trailers. 
  • Receive and inspect packaging materials.
  • Receive raw ingredients.
  • Maintain cold storage.
  • Pre-stage all ingredients and materials for next days’ production.
  • Comply with Spill Prevention Control and Counter Measures.
  • Perform cycle count for materials and inventory in all stages of completion (Ings). 
  • Pre-stage raw materials in the Cold Box for blending using first in, first out (FIFO). .
  • Follow chemical receiving and storing requirements.
  • Transport or stock transfer flammable ingredients. 
  • Print Dock View delivery sheet for 1955and Door 1. 
  • Create bill of lading (BOL) for stock transfers.
  • Refer to the weekly forecast to pull frozen ingredients. 
  • Inspect products on pallets to ensure they are as described by the “Production Work Order” form. 
  • Verify all ingredients and materials are pre-staged correctly.
  • Segregate non-conforming products and materials and ensure they are placed on hold or refused.
  • Print Dock View appointments and post. 
  • Create months of supply (MO’s) in Justified Logic Solutions (JLS) for Production and override tag locations to proper warehouse. 
  • Create Inventory Locator Service (ILS) tags.
  • Create Coca-Cola BOL using SAP.
  • Count finished product on the floor daily.
  • Place finished product on hold.
  • Re-work non-conforming product.
  • Check emails daily for any changes in materials or ingredient deliveries. 
  • Attend Production meetings when necessary. 
  • Provide feedback for reviews, corrective actions and audits.
  • Conduct finished goods floor count when necessary. 
  • Provides relief coverage to co-workers during their breaks, meal period, and/or PTO. 
  • Trains co-workers on duties and responsibilities of Inventory Control.
  • Directs work duties of other staff during shift.
  • Provides leadership to co-workers.
  • General
    • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    • Regular and punctual attendance.
    • Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Three months related experience required.
  • Warehouse experience in the Beverage industry preferred.
  • Single and double forklift certification required. 

 

Language Skills: English is required, and the ability to speak Spanish is desirable.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms and twist at the neck. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch and bend or twist at the waist. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

 

Work Environment:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

 

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and forklifts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

 

Working conditions inside and outside also include being in cold temperatures 30-41 degrees and below freezing temperatures while working in the Cold Box and Freezer.  Travel between the warehouse and plant employees will be subject to exposure of high heat, wet and rainy weather, and windy conditions.
