Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The ideal Supply Chain Asset Protection Manager 4 is skilled in time management, has strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while adhering to the highest ethical standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides Asset Protection and Safety leadership in assigned Fulfillment Center Act as a key-partner in driving a culture of asset protection and safety to include, but not limited to; access control, key control, alarm protocols and maintaining effective education and training programs through new hire orientations, safety meetings, inspections, and operational partnerships. Support team in conducting and delivering results regarding investigations of Theft, Fraud, and Workplace Violence/Critical Incidents Lead AP team in investigating incidents, accidents, and situations that may affect the assets of the company while working with Operations Leadership to ensure compliance with all security / asset protection / risk processes and procedures. As a key member of the leadership team, maintain proactive and constant communication with all layers of Operational Management regarding matters of loss prevention, safety, and physical security. Serve as department’s liaison and security subject matter expert for facility management keeping them abreast of key issues, trainings, strategies and the department’s performance. Coordinate shrink reduction programs in partnership with Operations Management and Central Senior Asset Protection staff; executing shrink reduction initiatives in areas of awareness, audits, and training Own the recruiting, hiring and training of AP employees within the building to ensure technical and professional development. Manage and develop an efficient and effective AP team through performance feedback, goalsetting and development plans. Review and approve all reports to ensure that Asset Protection incidents and cases are reported and logged properly. Own building internal investigations program and ensure that processes are in place and being executed to identify and resolve internal loss situations in a timely and efficient manner. Train operational senior leadership on opening and closing procedures for the building. Provide recommendations and helps to coordinate implementation of policies and procedures to ensure integrity of supply chain operations and Asset Protection and Safety programs Maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace Complete written reports to senior building management on audits and incidents, within the facility. Coaches and directs leadership team on proactive measures, action steps, and plans to mitigate further risk/dishonesty. Communicates effectively in a variety of settings and tailor message to fit the audience. Exhibit a high level of proficiency and professionalism in your interview style. Manage complexities of a building that operates 24/7, and up to 1M square feet to ensure that all Asset Protection, Safety and Security standards are always met. Escalates safety, physical security, threat and theft-related issues and partners with Regional APM, HR, legal, and building leadership as necessary to protect the company brand, liability and maintain a productive work environment for all associates. Performs special projects at the direction of the Regional Asset Protection Manager Support and contribute to the Supply Chain network priorities of ‘Safety, Team, Results’ CORE COMPETENCIES: Customer Focus: Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or demonstrated experience required. 5 years of experience in security service, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or other related field 2 years supervisory experience required Experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Excel Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity experience Experience with warehouse or distribution center services is strongly preferred Proven success in investigations, asset protection/loss prevention and security procedures. Experience conducting internal or external interviews The ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with other employees and leaders. Strong organizational, delegation and follow-through skills. The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency, including use of monitoring and surveillance technologies. A comprehensive understanding of both APIS and XBR (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A calm head when dealing with safety and security issues; able to effectively respond and resolve safety/security issues Proven experience where a high-level of accountability, initiative and ownership was displayed Develops People: Strong leadership skills, detail oriented, and a quick decision maker.
