Material Handler

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Inspect paper to insure readiness for machine
• Advise operator of any problems with defective paper.
• Assist in setup machine for various roll diameters and weights and sizes
• Feed and web paper on machine
• Trouble shoot for any problems in paper.
• Bring rolls and supplies to machine, using a clamp truck..
• Observe machine to ensure quality production.
• Unload and shrink wrap finished product prepare for wrapping station
• Follow Safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition
• Perform other duties as assigned.

TOOLS, EQUPIMENT & MEASURING INSTRUMENTS:

Utility knife, measuring tape, sheeter controls, Clamp Truck and pallet jack. Must have basic math skills to be able to measure up to 16 inches.

PHYSICAL DEMAND:

Must be able to push rolls of paper, which require approximately 60 Pounds of force on a frequent basis (2 to 3 times an hour) with assistance. Work in an uncooled warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
