Port Charlotte, FL - Onsite - Full time - $16-$20, DOE
As an Accounting Clerk you will provide clerical support to the accounting department. The clerk maintains the various financial files and documents, develops daily worksheets, develops different types of financial reports and keeps track of all the requisitions of the accounting department. A range of experience levels will be considered, and we encourage all automotive accountant with great excel experience to apply.

What You’ll Do:
- Packaging and Processing paperwork
- Ensures timely, accurate and consistent recording of dealership transactions (Ranging from General Receipting, Issuing Payments, Purchasing Inventory, Posting Vehicle Sales/Service or Parts)
- Reconciles, deposits, & monthly statements as well as other related transactions.
- Inputs and maintains transactions in company’s records, ledgers, and software databases
- Verifies accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from department heads and customers
- Maintains copies of vouchers, invoices, or correspondence necessary for files
- Perform other General Automotive & Office duties as assigned by the business manager
What You’ll Need:
- Excel experience is a must
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Automotive Accounting experience a Plus
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Team player with positive attitude
- Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Automotive Accounting experience a plus
- Prior dealership experience a plus
